The safeSpace initiative has been designed to give a safe space for students to meet and discuss important issues, gain correct, current and appropriate information from expert sources and provides an opportunity to speak to respected and knowledgeable dental professionals. It has been co-designed by our student representative in response to student requests.

The student voice is not often heard and the aim of this group will also allow students to have a voice with a broader reach. Whether it is a challenges with studies, training or exams, interviews or CV writing, a need to change jobs, feeling overwhelmed or a student has concerns about their place of work, SafeSpace is invaluable. Safespace provides a platform to voluntarily meet others who understand your experiences, it is a place to be heard, believed, listened to and supported.
