Qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2012, holding the Conscious Sedation. He worked in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Outpatient department initially and also became part of the Primary Care IMOS services, as the DCP lead for the East Midlands.

Daniel then took up a management position managing Unscheduled Dental Care (Out of Hours) and IMOS and was the Lead Sedation Nurse. His next career move was to Dental Charge Nurse for the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontic Outpatients, managing the clinical and operational aspects of the department. Daniel acted as the clinical supervisor in the vaccination hub during COVID-19 and has since completed a BA in  Management and Leadership and has CMI status.

Furthermore, Daniel was also part of the Staffordshire and Shropshire Oral Surgery MCN, leading to the role of  Senior Charge Nurse of Head & Neck Outpatients.

In December 2023, he took a position at Birmingham Dental Hospital as Matron where he is responsible for the clinical-operational management of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Theatres, Paediatrics, Orthodontics and Unscheduled Dental Care and supports the School of Dental Nursing. He continues to remain clinically active within IMOS services to maintain my clinical competency.
