Angela qualified as a dental nurse in 1982 and then went on to gain a Diploma in Dental Health Education and Dental Radiography and CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management. She has been a practice manager of two dental practices in Telford, Shropshire for the last 10 years where she lives. She has been working for the West Midlands Deanery since December 2006 and provided CPD courses throughout Shropshire and Staffordshire since her appointment. Nearer to home she started the first peer group for dental nurses in Wellington which holds regular meetings throughout the year for local practices. Angela has completed a dental charity trek to Nepal to assist a local charity SmileHigh delivering dental treatment to remote villages in the Himalayas and has returned there on a number of occasions.
