It was a pleasure to be invited to the Bupa Dental Care Clinical Training Academy in Staines on the 24/09/2025
Greeted by the amazing team at Bupa and a large social gathering and lunch ahead of the panel discussion and tour of the amazing facilities. It is game-changing for the world of dental education. During the tour, there was an opportunity to see robotic patients, visit an immersive classroom and a VR room.
Considering everything, there was a podcast room and an area that would later become a library/research space. This has the potential to open up education to the whole team and be attractive to everyone. I was particularly impressed with the concept of ‘world’ training, but what impressed me most was the discussion of Genomics, digital care pathways, and clinical innovations.
