This role was varied and included assisting with Oral medicine, Oral Surgery, Restorative procedures, Orthodontics, Trauma to the head or neck, Prosthodontics and nurse led Radiography clinics, including intra, extra and CBCT images. During her time there she undertook both a Business Management and a Dental Practice Management course at Level 3.

Clare now works at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy as a Senior Staff Dental Nurse managing a team of 18 Staff Dental Nurses who provide support to students from the University of Portsmouth and final year KCLDI dental students. Outreach work around Portsmouth facilitates an invaluable contribution to the local community. Currently, Clare is undertaking a Level 3 award in NCFE Education and Training, to develop her skills in this area.
