The Society offers its congratulations to Jason and hopes to continue on-going discussions and actions with Jason and continue to see him in working parties and as part of our meetings with the Dental Professional Alliance. Jason, a dentist based at the Maltings in Grantham is a former Deputy Chief Dental Officer (CDO) for England, who previously worked alongside Sara Hurley and has acted as interim CDO for England since Sara Hurley stepped down in 2023.
There are a number of challenges facing the industry and some have been deemed ‘wicked problems’, the industry continues to seek answers and solutions and it is hoped that Jason will take the industry with him as he begins to unpick the problems. The Society who represent dental nurses and dental nurse students will continue to offer support and work alongside the office of the CDO.
