Lesley Redman

Lesley qualified as a dental nurse in 1995 and went on to gain a certificate in radiography, oral health education and fluoride application. She worked in general practice for 25 years and was senior nurse at her last post at a busy NHS dental practice. Here she ran a nurse led clinic that provided fluoride application to children’s teeth. During her time in general practice Lesley mentored dental cadets and supported a learning disability group in London with oral health advice and support.

Lesley has also written an article for the Dental Nursing Journal and also for the care home environment magazine.

Her current role is the oral health lead for oral health improvement for vulnerable at-risk older people in Oldham.
