MyGDC the GDC are urging registrants not to Create a Second Account

The Society has been working closely with the General Dental Council and also with the Dental Professional Alliance to ensure that by the 31st July, registrants have successfully been able to renew their professional registration, pay their annual retention fee and declare their continual professional development by the 28th August 2026. We have had a number of issues reported to us, and only last week we discussed this with the Dental Professional Alliance, having previously contacted the GDC.

We are delighted to report back that the GDC have looked into the issues that we presented and has put some additional measures in place. We are delighted that the GDC are working with us to resolve a number of issues.

We would also urge you to read the Mythbuster, produced by the Dental Professional Alliance, of which the Society of British Dental Nurses is a part. Please click on the link below the following extract to read the MythBuster, which has useful hints and tips to help you through the ARF/declaration process.
