Mental Health and Its Impact on Dentistry (31/03/2023)
Many of you will know that the Society are very much part of the Dental Professional Alliance (DPA), the DPA have a sub-group of Mental Health Wellness in Dentistry and the collaborative work has been incredible MHWD.ORG.UK
Our Executive Director (Fiona Ellwood BEM) has been the co-chair of the MHWD work since its inception and along with the other members of the group, has contributed to work across the 4 nations and in America, Canada and Nepal and has spoken and written widely on the matter. You won’t be surprised to hear that she presented on this event on Friday 31st March with an esteemed line up.
We are key to the smooth running of dental clinics and surgeries and we need a united front on this – well done to all involved and a huge thank you to the Dental Dean Matthew Garrett, Dr Charlotte Curl and Prof. Tim Newton.
