I qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 1991, I currently work in a Maxillofacial facial department and I am also one of 2 lead Dental Nurses that work for the South Wales Cleft lip and Palate team.  My passion is Oral Health improvement particularly for in patients in  hospital.

I love providing mouthcare sessions to HCSW’S and Nurses in my health board and am always looking for new inventive ways to motivate staff to provide the best care to their patients.

I hold post qualifications in oral health, Orthodontics, PTLS ,Fluoride varnish application, impression taking and plaque and debris scoring.

I enjoy the challenge of producing new ways to promote oral health at key times such as Stoptober oral cancer awareness and dry January.

Still enjoying my role after 34 years.
