The Society of British Dental Nurses have been part of the working group from the beginning and feel strongly about this work. Sometimes messages are not always clear when you ‘deep dive’ into matters of such sensitivity. This work is to try and encourage us all to deal with complaints in a way that looks to ‘local resolution’ i.e. dealing with things in an appropriate and timely manner  at practice level.

This work aims to reduce the number of cases that find their way to the General Dental Council (GDC) when they should really be dealt with before it gets to this stage. Some cases need to be escalated to the GDC, but not all. How good are your complaint handling skills?

Get in touch if you would like to attend our workshop and don’t forget we are giving out the poster and information leaflets at each of our events.
