Can you believe we are heading towards the end of 2025 and beginning to round up our CPD and Coffee Cafe sessions? So, as a heads up, the Society just wanted to share that, as always, we have an additional session to raise awareness of oral cancer. The next two sessions are ‘back to back’.
The first session is on the 26th of November at 7pm and is essential for anyone supporting students and newly qualified dental nurses in the workplace, as well as for those who are skilled but new to the business – Mentoring and Clinical supervision – 26th November at 7 pm. This session aims to give you an insight into mentoring skills and how to apply them to clinical supervision.

The following session is dedicated to Mouth Cancer Awareness – Emma Riley is a huge advocate raising awareness of head, neck and throat cancer, what it means to receive this news, how individuals and their families need support and what this means for those with the diagnosis and post-surgery/recovery and survivorship. This session aims to raise awareness of Mouth Cancer Month and to support the extensive work of the Mouth Cancer Foundation.

The next Coffee Cafe is on the 29th of November with an exciting speaker, Kate Harding, from The Purple All Stars – a performance advocacy group, composed of people with learning disabilities who use creative arts to raise awareness about health and inclusion.
