Tracey qualified as a dental nurse in 1980, passing the national exam with merit. She then went on to work clinically for many years, establishing herself in the role of Practice Manager. These years in practice incorporated all aspects of dentistry and patient management and the development of training programmes for new staff. In 2005 Tracey moved full time to teach dental nurses in a private college. Over the following three years the college achieved higher than national pass rates in the national exam. Tracey then went on to gain a certificate in assessment, a PTTLS teaching qualification and a Level 5 DTLLS teaching qualification. Since 2008 Tracey has been employed by mydentist, the largest corporate in the UK, advancing nurse training both in formal qualifications and CPD, and is keen to incorporate her experience there to work with professional bodies
