The Society of British Dental Nurses attended the NEBDN 80th celebrations as guests of NEBDN. President Tracy Wallis was delighted to attend the event held at the Villa Country House Hotel on the 19th October, 2023.
The Society meet with the NEBDN on regular basis and conversations around education flow, this is of course a key area of interest of Tracy’s, who is part of the teaching team at Portsmouth University. The Society has a keen interest in the history of dental nursing and dental nurse education, they formed the DSA Alumni in honour of Dame Margaret Seward and support the work of the Dental Nurse Historian Group. You may also be aware that Fiona Ellwood our Executive Director co-edited a book which captured some of the history of the NEBDN.
On the 22nd November every year the Society celebrate the National Dental Nurses Day, this year the big shout out will link to the celebrations of NEBDN – join us in the celebrations.
