The Society of British Dental Nurses have been part of the Dental Professional Alliance since its evolution and collectively we all work together on specific matters. We felt it was so important to shine a light on this missed opportunity to have the whole team at the table, none of these solutions will come to fruition without a whole team, an informed team and a valued team. This is a prime example of a top down approach, when we would all prefer to see an inclusive approach.
The DentalProfessional Alliance is made up of the elected President/Chair from the professional groups and the impact of these distinctive voices working together has really brought different perspectives to our quarterly meetings and meetings with stakeholders and influencers. The BDJ Team journal has also published an excellent piece in support of our work.
